I completely oppose christianity but the love of my life, the woman i want to marry supports it!?
Me and my girlfriend have been together for a while now and we even talked about children and getting married, but we can not agree to have christian traditions in our house or not, because she wants them but i not only disagree with christianity, i am completely against it and i do all i can to prove that i believe it's irrational. What do we do? We are really in love but we just can't let go of our beliefs

My girlfriend re-discovered her christianity and now says no to sex?
We have been dating not living together for 16 months. We are both consenting adults. I dont see why if it was ok to have sex in the past it's an issue for her now. She also maintains that its ok to fool around, basically anything without penetration. While ths can be satisfying, it can also be damn frustrating. Is this really a fair demand on her part?

A friend converted to christianity because fell in love with a girl but people keep trying to destroy him?
people keep trying to stop him from getting a job and destroy his friendship and other relationship, what should the friend do?

Me and my girlfriend's christianity..?
Okay, so my girlfriends life is FULL of problems. We took time off from each other, because our relationship is more stress on her. I also need some self growing up to do.. and I have finally realized, that I need Jesus. I used to be a strong christian about 4 5 years ago.. but I've fallen so deep into sin it's ridiculous. I know my girl needs Jesus.. She's not compeletely foreign to church and all.. but she's not really following a Christian walk. Neither am I. She has loads of family problems.. and I know her escape can be Jesus. I just don't know how to tell her without looking weird.. I need him too. I just know this is the way she can get rid of her problems... I just need to find a way to tell her .. please help.. I will best answer asap.

A question about how to handle atheist/christianity and weddings?
Alright, me and my son's father have recently begun talking about being together for long term, like getting " married" I say it in quotations because we are both agnostic atheist . Well I have been looking at alternative weddings and it's just putting everything into perspective. My family is pretty religious, in fact before me and my boyfriend had a baby my mother even told me she wouldn't come to our 'wedding' if we ever did because she didn't approve I am not sure if that has changed because of our son . I guess I am wondering if anyone went through an alternative wedding with a very religious family one that I could see making comments about not doing something religious, not getting married in a church, not dedicating ourselves to a god etc. I would simply love a ceremony where we dedicate ourselves to each other and celebrate that. But I am nervous about my family, I don't want whatever day we choose to be compromised because they want to make disrespectful comments. I am asking this online because the majority of the people I would normally talk to are the ones I am worried about Has anyone been through something like this?

Dating, Friends, life, christianity, sex, morals, jobs, and life in general?
Hey I'm 19, and I've lived in the United States as much as I've lived in Canada. And actually just moved back in with my parents in NH. I had a girl friend that went to a Christian college I lived beside, and we eventually slowed down to a friendship. She went away and at a later time I contacted her. And the 2nd time I saw her we had sex in my car. I regretted it at the time, because I wanted to wait, and because it was not her first time. But we made a promise to ourselves to stop, and when she started University I went to visit and we did it again in her dorm. About three weeks later, before I was going to have her come up to visit, actually about 2 weeks before she was supposed to come up. She broke up with me, saying that she couldn't find time for a realtionship and that I was too good for her, and she felt she had wronged God, me, and herself. I took it hard, and when she said I could call her on Friday I did, and she never did answer. Only to find out on Saturdays she said she had another b f and didn't want to talk about it. She has talked to me since, and said they aren't serious because he loves his ex. anyways, and will be moving soon. She says that she misses me when we talk. But she seems to always need someone to support her 24 7. She has adopted parents, but they won't communicate with her anymore, since about 1 1 2 year. only once and a while. She lives with her aunt and uncle when not in school. I've started to get over it, but at the same time I still have strong feeling for her, and can't get past that final stage to just forget all of it.And at the same time, now that I've moved back to NH and left all my friends behind. How the heck do you meet someone in a new place, if your not a student, and you have a crummy job that cut yours hrs to nothing.I felt sex was something I wanted to wait for, but at the same time I was melested in my teen years, and I always thought this would prove myself. It bothers me, but I don't think about sex in the same way I thought about it before I did it. Other then that, Life Sucks And I don't know what to do to change it Thanks Exeter, NH P.S. Sorry for the poor grammar and punctuation, I typed quick.Saturday not Saturdays

Is it Ok to marry or date some one who have a different religion christianity?
I'm catholic but so far, I've been attracted to orthodox girls. I'm not very religious but my parents told me not to marry a girl that with a different religion because we might have problems over faith but then I have relatives who are protestants who married catholic people. We also read it in a family book once so I don't know

Is the divorce rate actually higher within christianity?
My question is this, is the divorce rate higher among christians that go to church rather then those that don't go to church and are not religious? I have been living in America my whole life and my parents use to force me to go to church until I turned 18. I am wondering if what they preach in church is different then the way people actually live. I just took a trip to China and most Chinese are athiest they're not religious and the divorce rate is only close to 5 %. But the divorce rate in America and other christian based societies are 50 % or more. That leads me to the question, is the divorce rate higher among those that go to church compared to those that don't? I am not bashing any religion and all people of faith should be treated equally even though that is not the case in this world . My question still remains, what do you think?
